1.The term ‘workwisewords’ refers to the Australian business workwisewords, a trading name of MASH Creative Services Pty Ltd as trustee for the Sidebotham Family Trust (ABN 90 147 809 277). workwisewords shall take all reasonable steps to protect the privacy and confidentiality both of client information and of all documents or intellectual property provided to workwisewords by clients.

4. workwisewords guarantees that client documents and intellectual property will not be shared with any third party except as below:

If we believe that a crime, tort or other illegal act has taken place or is about to take place, we may voluntarily disclose relevant personal information to the police, courts, or other competent authorities.

b. In accordance with the Institute for Professional Editors Guidelines for Editing Research Theses, we will retain on file all marked-up versions of theses submitted for proofreading and editing.

c. With the written permission of clients and in a form agreed by clients, workwisewords may use examples of work completed for clients on its website.

5. To the extent that workwisewords collects any information from visitors, clients or other users, whether that information is personally identifying or not, either from actively provided information or from our web hosting service, workwisewords uses such information only for our own purposes relating to providing our services. Such information is not provided to any third parties except as below:

a. When you pay by PayPal, or another electronic payment service (e-payment service), we provide information as required by the system, including your order number and the amount and currency of payment required, to the e-payment service you select.

b. Banks and e-payment services may monitor financial activity for legal reasons or to ensure compliance with their terms of service to you and to us. Therefore, we may occasionally provide additional details regarding your order or transaction for these purposes upon request.

6. All client documents and intellectual property in electronic format are stored on a secure online system and can and will be viewed only by the editor or writer responsible for the commission.

7. All client documents and intellectual property in hardcopy format are stored in locked secure containers on locked premises and can and will be viewed only by the editor or writer responsible for the commission.

8. Unless otherwise specified by the client, all electronic documents will be deleted from workwisewords systems 20 days after finalisation of the contract or earlier by client request, subject to the limitations of paragraph 4b.

9. Unless otherwise specified by the client, all hardcopy documents not returned to the client will be shredded 20 days after finalisation of the contract or earlier by client request, subject to the limitations of paragraph 4b.

10. By negotiation workwisewords may provide editing and writing services at a secure location owned operated or otherwise made available by the client.
